Dating back to the 12th century, this historic country estate was from a Spanish noble family, the Marquises of Campofranco. Steeped in history, the property is built with thick stone walls around a large central courtyard, part cobbled and part garden.
Many original and traditional features have been preserved, such as high ceilings with vaults and wooden beams, old terracotta tiled floors, an ancient gothic staircase and the historic defense tower. A private consecrated chapel is dedicated to Nuestra Señora de la Annunciación.
Nestled in the Tramuntana mountains, 300 metres above the Mediterranean sea, the property´s position is absolutely unique, boasting magnificent views to the north of Sa Foradada, a famous rock formation near the village Deiá, and to the south of the nature reserve island of Sa Dragonera.
The sun rises in the morning over the mountain, and at dusk the estate boasts the most beautiful sunsets over the sea. One can stroll through the many paths of the estate for hours, enjoying the exquisite views in every direction. Situated at the end of a six km drive, the finca benefits from complete privacy, with over 40 hectares of land.
The estate comprises mountains, a beautiful lush oak and pine forest, fruit trees and terraced thousand-year-old olive groves, that yield the estate´s own certified organic olive oil. Horses, donkeys and sheep, all of ancient Mallorquin race, run freely on the land.
